Kurt Zouma has said Jose Mourinho told him he was “Rubbish” when he was at Chelsea and it motivated him to show him that he could react.

Ghanaian international John Antwi has set a new goal scoring record in Egypt. He achieved this milestone as the top foreign player to net 70 goals in the Egypt top flight. Antwi 27 made this history for pyramids in their match against Arab Contractors FC winning 2-0. The striker made his Mark scoring in the 40th minutes to double his side’s lead. FiFa chief of global football development Arsene Wenger has announced the launch of a ground-breaking talent development program. The program will enable member associations to optimise their technical structures and establish sustainable and long term scouting scheme and ultimately reduce the gap at the top of the game. The former Arsenal manager mentioned this during fifa’s five day technical development workshop in Doha, which saw over one hundred member associations attended. Wenger also said the federation needs more Colts competitions to identify talent.

FiFa president Giani Infantino has suggested that, the African cup of nations should be played four years instead of two. He made this announcement when the leaders in football on the continent met in sole Morocco, on the theme “developing football” in Africa and closing the gap to Europe’s dominance on the world game. He emphasised that revenue will increase in many folds and the event will become a must watch not only for Africa but the world at large. As part of FiFa reforms in African football, Infantino mentioned refereeing, infructsructure, and competitions are the main key areas that’s needs improvement. Participating teams for the juvenile competitions will also increase from 24 to 48 teams.
