Francis Oti Akenteng leaves office as the technical director of the Ghana football association after fourteen years of service.
Mr Akenteng has chalked a lot of success since his appointment in 2006. Notable was overseeing the Blackstar of Ghana to three consecutive world cups, and Black Satellite of Ghana winning gold in u-20 world cup in Egypt and also saw massive transformation in our women’s national teams. His astute leadership saw him work in various capacities at CAF been the technical instructor for clubs and offered a consultancy service as well.
GFA is currently looking for his successor. The likes of Masud Didi Dramani, Coach Edusei has popped up as potential candidate.
He also said though he’s no more in office but his doors are always open to offer his experience in developing Ghana football.
