Former Ghanaian international Nii Odartey Lamptey has said no man on this planet called earth should underestimate the power of women. He made this comments after he won an appeal made by his former wife, Gloria Appiah over a seven bedroom house at East Legion.
In 2013 Mr Odartey Lamptey had a DNA test for his three kids with Gloria and realized he is not the biological father. He then filed for a divorce, which eventually the court ordered him to compensate his wife with some money, car and a house as an alimony for the divorce. As it was not enough for the ex wife she filed an appeal to claim another house at East Legon. Unfortunately for her, her appeal was been rejected and ruled in favour of Odartey Lamprey.
In an interview with Saddick Adams on Angel FM the former under 17 world cup winner said he is very happy with the court ruling. ‘I’m not materialistic person, empty we came empty we shall return, am not fighting anybody but the right thing must be done that’s all. Though I’ve rented throughout all this period am not down, now am happily married with my own child and very grateful to God’.
It my fervent prayer no man experience such situation, it not easy.
