Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah has been appointed the UNHCR, to help fight discrimination against refugees in Italy. The former Torino and Udinesse star, has been in Italy since 2008. He is one of the few African players to have spent over a decade in the Seria A. Asamoah will use his role as a super star to help raise funds to support refugees in Italy. On his appointment he appealed to all and sundry to enrol young refugees in school to acquire some education. The Former Seria A winner now plays for international Milan but yet to kick a ball since October last year after picking up an injury against Bressia.
